Mental Health Awareness

MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS for me!

This was so me (text below).... now I dont claim depression anymore but I do recognize when I'm triggered and try to communicate such. I believe it's shows emotional intelligence when you're able to. Anxiety still comes and I've used breathing techniques and placing myself in a comfortable environment if I can to overcome it. PTSD, I believe we all have some sort of trauma we're learning to live with.

Over the years and exponentially in the last 3 months I have grown to use my support system around me, ask for help so I'm not doing everything, taking breaks and just sharing my wellbeing whether good or bad in a mature way. Its OK to not be okay. Make sure you voice it and I pray you're in a safe space to do so. People check on your people... I'm not gonna say you're strong friends because we are all strong and powerful especially to be living in this time. There are no weak people.

Topics like this I usually post on my blog on my site www.tjayetaylor.com/news today I decided to do differently because I saw a post and decided to share it all on here. So next time you see a link from me and a really intriguing title check it out.

I am well trust but when I speak I don't waste my words and talk just to be talking. #mentalhealthawareness

Going into this next season I think I'm going to take a vow to post a series of content to support this month's theme. Its so fitting with the journey I'm about to take in the next week!!

----- copy and paste below:

"Its a daily fight for me.

I suffer from anxiety, PTSD, and depression and I do get embarrassed of it and it's not a good place to be in. People don't believe me when I tell them because I am always happy and laughing round them and try to make others laugh. At times I do struggle. I can be hard to live with or to be around when I get this way and I know it. I try my best to control it and most of the time I succeed! I manage to get on top of it and control things, but at times I break. So if you see me and I am quiet or don't speak, I'm not upset with you nor have you upset me. I also do not mean to be rude, I may just need a minute to myself or a hug!

So please if you are my friend just bare with me!

It's ok to not be ok, tell someone you're not ok! It's ok! Everyone says: "If you need anything, don't hesitate, I'll be there for you"...

So I'm going to make a bet, without being pessimistic, I wish my friends that you will put this on your wall.

You just have to copy (not share)!!! I want to know who I can count on... Write "done" in comments when you do!

It's Mental Illness Awareness Month (in May)
