Balance and Motherhood
Motherhood is a beautiful, sacred calling — but it is not a title that erases your identity. It’s an expansion of it.
One of the greatest lessons I’ve learned is that balance in motherhood isn't about doing everything perfectly — it's about honoring all parts of yourself as you nurture someone else.
There are days where the needs feel endless, the energy feels low, and the pressure to "hold it all together" creeps in. But true balance isn't found in perfection. It's found in permission.
Permission to rest without guilt.
Permission to grow alongside your child, not just for them.
Permission to protect your peace as fiercely as you protect your child's well-being.
Motherhood taught me that I am still allowed to dream, still allowed to pursue wholeness, still allowed to be a full woman with passions, ambitions, and needs — while raising a life entrusted to my care.
Balance looks different every day. Sometimes it's meals prepped and a house in order. Sometimes it's choosing snuggles and stillness over finishing a to-do list. Sometimes it's asking for help and choosing not to wear the "superwoman" cape that day.
Balance in motherhood is not a fixed destination. It’s a relationship — with yourself, your child, and the season you're both walking through.
And every day that I choose both my daughter and myself, I am teaching her that womanhood is not about depletion — it's about living fully, loving fully, and leading fully.
Motherhood doesn't diminish you. It multiplies you.
